Stabilizer should be flush up against u-bolt hold down plate above the spring pack.

Some vehicles will need to remove spring alignment keeper.

  • removal of keeper will not affect alignment
  • There is another in front of spring pack
  • Once stabilizer is installed U-Bolt/swing shackle are reinforcement to keep springs aligned

 2019- up Chevy/GMC 3500 and up will need addition tools Air hammer recommended to drive stabilizer between overload and main spring pack due to smaller spacing between them.

  •  you will only be able to set stabilizer at heaviest/highest setting keep this mind when determining what size spring you need.
  • Ford Super Duty   
  • Spacing between overload and main spring pack is higher plenty of room to install stabilizer between them. However you will need to set stabilizer at heaviest/highest setting.

           Determining what spring you need 

     Our springs part number has meaning

           First 2 numbers represent width

60 series is approximately 2 1/4″ wide

65 series is 2 1/2″ wide

70 series is 2 3/4″ wide

75 series is 3″ wide

           Last 2 numbers represent spring thickness

14 has a spring rate of 500-900lbs 

15 has a spring rate of  900-1500lbs

16 has a spring rate of 1500lbs+

       *spring rate is amount of weight to move spring 1 inch*
